Week 6 Term 2 2022
Kaya (hello),
The cold weather is fast approaching, and it’s time to stay warm. Please let us know if your child is starting to show signs of sniffles and we will make sure they stay warm and hydrated. Please ensure school jumpers are clearly labelled on both the collar and inside side label to help return lost jumpers. I am trying to encourage them to place jumpers in school bags when as soon as they remove them so that they are available to wear the next morning.

Character Strength
Love – I experience close, loving relationships that are characterised by giving, receiving love, warmth, and caring.
Wheels After Meals
Wheels After Meals” is at lunchtime on Tuesday 31st May. Students can bring their scooter and skateboard to ride around on after their lunch. Wearing elbow pads and a helmet is one of the best ways to stay safe when riding around. If you wish your child to participate in these activities, then please bring their items into the classroom to be stored. We recommend that you write your child’s name on their items.
Beanies for Timor-Leste
Come to school wearing your beanies on Thursday, 2nd June, for a gold coin donation. The money goes towards the shipping costs to send much needed supplies to Timor.
Year 1 Liturgy
On Friday we had a special liturgy for the Ascension of Jesus. The students loved having the special role of setting up the prayer space and choosing objects that they deemed special before 1S class came to join us.
